Ruud fault codes

40 documented codes for Ruud furnaces, each cited to the manufacturer's own manual. Ruud is a Rheem Manufacturing Company brand. Ruud U97V, U96V and U801 furnaces are the same equipment as the Rheem R97V, R96V and R801, with the identical integrated furnace control and the identical fault-code set. Rheem publishes one installation manual per platform with a "(-)" brand placeholder on the cover (e.g. "(-)97V SERIES") covering both the U (Ruud) and R (Rheem) model prefixes, hosted on Rheem's public PTS document store. Older standard-efficiency Ruud furnaces use a green-LED blink-code board instead of the 7-segment display; Rheem publishes the same TP0002 flash-code tech tip on my.ruud.com..
