Soft lockout
Position sensor abnormality - the compressor failed to start. The position-detection circuit could not establish the compressor's rotor position at start-up.

Likely causes, most common first
- Start-up failure caused by the closed stop valve
- Input voltage is outside the specified range
- Disconnection of the compressor relay cable
- Defective compressor
- Defective outdoor unit PCB
What you can safely check yourself
- Check the breaker or disconnect for the outdoor unit is fully on
- Turn the system off at the breaker or disconnect switch, leave it off at least 30 seconds, and turn it back on once
When to call a technician
H6 needs supply voltage and discharge pressure measured at the outdoor unit. A closed stop valve left over from installation is a common cause and only a technician should open it.
A Daikin mini-split throwing this code repeatedly has a reason — clearing the code without fixing the cause just hides it.
