Daikin Mini-Split Code 00
Status
Normal. 00 is what the remote shows in service-check mode when the system has no stored error. If you go through the code-retrieval procedure and land on 00 with a long beep, the control is not reporting a fault.
Manual wording: “System 00 Normal”
Documented for: All Daikin residential ductless with wireless remote service-check mode
Likely causes, most common first
- No fault stored in the control
- The problem is intermittent and cleared itself
- The complaint is a comfort or airflow issue rather than a control fault
What you can safely check yourself
- Check the remote is in the mode and temperature you expect
- Check and replace the indoor unit air filter
- Make sure supply and return airflow at the indoor unit is not blocked by furniture or curtains
- Check the outdoor unit is clear of leaves, snow and debris
When to call a technician
If comfort is poor but no code is stored, a technician needs to check refrigerant charge and airflow with gauges - there is nothing further a homeowner can read off the remote.
A Daikin mini-split throwing this code repeatedly has a reason — clearing the code without fixing the cause just hides it.
