- Turn the furnace switch off, wait a minute, and turn it back on once to see whether the code clears
When to call a technician
If E01 returns, the control board needs to be replaced by a technician.
A Trane furnace throwing this code repeatedly has a reason — clearing the code without fixing the cause just hides it.
